Task 1: Collect artworks, illustrations, artefacts, related to your theme.

Intention: This task should allow you to see the breadth of responses that have already been attempted by artists, illustrators and photographers.

Feel free to use Pinterest and THIS LIST to guide you.

Task 2:
Now that you have collected (approx 10) works that are related to your theme, you need to annotate and evidence your thoughts. Try answering these questions:

• What is your personal response? What exactly do you love about this work? Be positive and use arty describing words from THIS list.
• Note the methods that have been used by the artist. Have elements been edited? Is there anything interesting you can say about the method?
• Rendering approach (what is it made from?)
• Describe the feeling that the artefact is communicating? What is the audience immediately getting?
• Attempt to imagine using this style or subject matter in a graphic artefact?
